Open Contracting Data Standard at the Open Government Partnership Summit

The Open Contracting team are heading for Mexico City next week for the 3rd Open Government Partnership Summit.

Throughout the week there will be opportunities to learn more about Open Contracting, and to connect with members of the Open Contracting Data Standard team.

On Monday 26th October, we’ll have an OCDS team at the ResourceContracts DataDive. From 10am – 6pm you can drop-in and get hands-on support preparing, publishing and using OCDS data at TelMex Hub.

As well as working on building connections between OCDS and the ResourceContracts.org work on extractives contracts, we’ll be giving time for one-to-0ne support for anyone currently working to produce OCDS data.

Drop a line to data@open-contracting.org to book a slot, or just turn up on Monday.

On Tuesday 27th October the Open Contracting team will be participating in OGP Civil Society day, and leading a session from 15:30 – 17:00 including an overview of OCDS, as well as setting the data standard in the context of wider Open Contracting reforms.

And during the main OGP summit, on Thursday 16:00 – 17:00 there is an all-star Open Contracting panel on the main stage.

There will also be an invite-only knowledge-sharing breakfast for those already implementing Open Contracting and the Open Contracting Data Standard. Drop a line to gneumann@open-contracting.org to get on the invite list if you are not already.

If you won’t be in Mexico for the OGP Summit, but would like to talk about implementing OCDS, remember you can contact the OCDS helpdesk any time by e-mail to data@open-contracting.org
